In Slovakia, the capsule dimensions fulfill the criteria of a "notification" requirement, that is a "small buiding not physically connected to the foundations" up to 50 m² and up to 5 m height, meaning the placement of the capsule itself is subject only to the notification requirement.When it comes to connecting the capsule to the grid, the local authority is the best place to consult about the requirement for a planning permission. As a distributor, we will provide all necessary technical documentation.
Is the capsule certified?
VESSEL capsules supplied by TERRABOX are fully certified for sale and use within Slovakia. Capsule specifications can be adjusted to suit local building requirements.The capsules are supplied with complete electric project documentation, certification of conformity (CE) and electrical safety certificate from an authorized electrician.In Slovakia, single storey, statically independent buildings do not classify for fire protection requirements, despite this the capsules are equipped with superior fire protection materials.The steel frame (structure) itself is certified as well (EN 1090-1).
How does the capsule connect to the grid?
VESSEL capsules are equipped with connections for: electricity, water and waste plumbing.As a distributor, we can provide suppliers for septic, water tank and solar system solutions.The bare minimum for commissioning the capsule is a 3×25 A (400 V) electrical connection. In lower configuration, a 3×16 A (400 V) connection is sufficient, alternatively even a single phase 1×25 A (230 V) connection.The external connection and internal power distribution box of the capsule are EU certified.
Is it possible to install solar panels?
Solar systems can be additionally ordered for the capsules in a hybrid configuration (solar + electrical connection) or as a so-called island (off-grid) system with a battery.We cooperate with the solar system supplier Vainex – www.vainex.sk, which offers ready-made, certified, and reliable solutions compatible with VESSEL capusles.The systems HUAWEI LUNA and SOFAR SOLAR range:– from 5 000 € excl. VAT for a basic 5 kW system,– up to 10 000 € excl. VAT for a 10 kW system with a 5 – 10 kW battery.Solar panels can be installed on a console on the capsule roof or next to the capsule on a separate console. The inverter is installed in the interior and the batteries in the exterior.Contact us for a custom quotation.
What foundations are required for the capsule?
The frame of the capsule is equipped with 4 supports, through which the weight of the capsule is distributed equally.The place of installation must be prepared with 4 concrete supports, on which the capsule will be placed. What is included in the price?
The price of this VESSEL model S5 in standard configuration is 65 000 € excluding VAT (23%).Note if the buyer is an EU entity paying VAT outside of Slovakia, VAT will not be charged.This price includes ocean and land transport within Bratislava. In case of delivery outside of Bratislava, transport is calculated individually. We can deliver anywhere within the EU.The price does not include offloading at the delivery spot, which depends on the terrain and the distance from the access road – standard range is from 1 000 – 3 000 €.Additional costs include foundation preparation, electrical/water/plumbing connection and obtaining building permission. For these services, we can provide verified contractors.
What is the order process?
Based on your requirements, we will create a pricing quote. After confirmation, the order is signed.The order total is paid in three parts:– 60% after signing the order– 30% after manufacturing (before shipping)– 10% before deliveryAs a distributor, we facilitate transport and offloading up until the destination.A specialist appointed by us will perform an inspection of the destination before signing the order to determine the suitability of the capsule placement.
How long does manufacturing and transport take?

What is the material lifespan and warranty?
Material lifespan:– galvanised steel frame: 50 years– aluminium panels: 20 years– silicone (sealant): 10 yearsThe standard warranty period for VESSEL capsules is 2 years.As an authorized distributor, we provide in-warranty & out of warranty service and spare parts.
What is the capsule insulation material?
The walls, floor and roof of the capsule are filled with 9 cm of insulation:– 5 cm polyuretane foam– 3 cm XPS (extruded polystyrene)– 9 mm fire retardantThe capsules are equipped with double-glazed windows as standard, triple-glazed windows are available for an additional cost.Air conditioning is fully sufficient for heating the capsule, floor heating can be ordered as an add-on for comfort.VESSEL space capsules can be inhabited throughout the whole year in conditions from –15 °C to +45 °C.
Are customisations possible?
If you have interior customisations in mind, we can provide architects and designers who can adjust the layout based on your requirements.We will instruct the manufacturer based on your specifications, and the capsule will arrive customised exactly as required.It is usually not possible to join VESSEL capsules together.
